Objectives:
In August 1996, the Institute started its academic program in a rented place in the city of Lawrenceville, Georgia. Presently, the Institute campus comprises of a large Masjid, about 22,000 square feet school building, sisters hall, few residential houses, and a library/office building spread over about 13 acres of land in the heart of Lawrenceville, center of the Gwinnett County in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Institute has also, by the Grace of Almighty Allah, succeeded in establishing an independent Muslim Cemetery on a 5 acre piece of land close to the main campus.
The institute complex to provide a Masjid and separate academic, educational and recreational facilities for both male and female Muslim students, regardless of their color, race, national origin or ethnic background.
Boarding and lodging facilities are provided to all students at a very low cost and on the premises of the GIIRS. This allows students to have a healthy environment favorable to their faith and their spiritual, moral, intellectual and academic growth and development. Currently students have an opportunity to continue their formal education via various home schooling programs.
